We recently got word that US Customs had intercepted a shipping container full of bootleg Fantastic Cat t-shirts at the border. Since the shirts appear to be printed in the 1990s, our best guess is that an international criminal syndicate seeking to capitalize on the lucrative American folk rock movement manufactured these in anticipation of our eventual formation and meteoric rise to popularity and kept them hidden in storage until the market was primed and ready for a flood of new Fantastic Cat merchandise.
